Lo correcto es pagar. Aunque tienes «top pair» y «kicker» alto, un raise fuerte podría aislarte contra sets o dobles parejas. Controlar el bote te permite tomar mejor decisión en el «river».
🃏 Reto 2: Farol o valor
Situación: Mesa cash 1€/2€. Estás con Q♠ J♠. Flop: 9♠ 10♠ 4♦ K♣. El rival pasa y el bote ya es grande.

- Apostar medio bote
- Apostar bote completo
- All-in

La mejor jugada es apostar medio bote. Tienes un gran proyecto (escalera y color), ejerces presión y puedes ganar el bote sin ver el river, pero sin sobreinvertir.
🎯 Reto 3: Mano trampa en el botón
Situación: Sit & Go de 6 jugadores, ciegas 200/400. Estás en el botón con 8♣ 8♦. UTG hace un min-raise.

La opción correcta es resubir x3. Tienes una mano fuerte que merece iniciativa. Un «3-bet» filtra rivales y te deja en mejor posición.
💥 Reto 4: Proyecto de color en el flop
Situación: Torneo multimesa, ciegas 500/1.000. Estás en ciega grande con 5♠ 6♠. Flop: 2♠ 9♠ J♦. El cutoff apuesta medio bote.

Aquí lo ideal es subir x3. Tu proyecto tiene muchas outs y presionas a rivales. Si pagan, aún puedes completar el color en «turn» o «river».
🏆 Reto 5: La mano del millón
Situación: Mesa final de torneo online, ciegas 10.000/20.000. Tienes A♦ Q♣ en el botón. Todos foldean hasta ti.

- Subir 2.5x

Lo óptimo es subir 2.5x. Es una mano fuerte, pero un all-in sería excesivo y perderías valor de manos peores que podrían pagarte.
Posiciones del Reto Póker
Quizá algunos de los términos expuestos no te sean familiares. Entender las posiciones es clave para mejorar en el póker, ya que cuanto más tarde actúas, más información tienes y puedes decidir mejor si apostar, subir o retirarte.
Ciegas (Blinds)
- Ciega pequeña (SB): primera posición a la izquierda del botón. Aporta la mitad de la apuesta mínima obligatoria antes de ver cartas.
- Ciega grande (BB): segunda posición a la izquierda del botón. Paga la apuesta mínima completa y actúa de último antes del «flop».
Estas dos posiciones son las únicas que pagan obligatoriamente antes de ver sus cartas.
UTG (Under the Gun)
- Es el primero en hablar después del reparto y antes del «flop».
- Debe actuar sin información sobre lo que harán los demás, por eso es la posición más difícil y donde se recomienda jugar solo manos muy fuertes.
MP (Middle Position)
- Estás en el medio de la mesa.
- Ya tienes algo de información — que hicieron los jugadores en UTG—, por lo que puedes ampliar un poco el rango de manos que juegas.
CO (Cutoff)
- Es la posición justo antes del botón.
- Es muy rentable porque si el botón se retira, serás el último en actuar. Se recomienda aprovechar para abrir más manos y presionar a los rivales.
Botón (Button)
- La mejor posición de la mesa.
- Actúas de último en todas las rondas de apuestas posteriores al «flop».
- Puedes jugar más manos, farolear con mayor seguridad y maximizar ganancias con manos fuertes.
En definitiva, cuanto más tarde estés en la mesa (cutoff, botón), más ventaja tienes. Los jugadores profesionales adaptan su estrategia a la posición, jugando más «tight» o especulando en primeras posiciones y más agresivos en las últimas.
